Need a back yard fire pit

• take a steel drum ( make sure no chemicals or anything flammable were store in it).
• cut it in half.
• drill lone 3" hole in bottom or several smaller holes
• make sure to place in on a fire proof foundation. stones,bricks etc.
• what can you burn? wooden pallets ( un-painted).
• put a grill or screen over drum to cut down on sparks
• it's a good idea to keep garden hose close by to put fire out.
• never put fire pit to close to a house or buiding.
