window shutters from pallets

There are many things you can make from wooded pallets. Pallets you can usually get for free.
The boards on pallets are around 3" to 5"wide and approx. 40" long..
  • carefully pry the boards of the pallet
  • lay boards on a flat surface with top and bottom edges flush with 1/2" gap between them
  • cut a board to lay across the 3 boards about 1 10" from top and 1 10" from bottom
  • screw in boards
  • repeat same steps for other shutter.
  • now paint ..
  • now you have rustic shutters you can use on your home or garden shed.
